Octoraro Reservoir (Lake) is owned by the Chester Water Authority and there's no park, as such, around it. It's located on PA 472 between Oxford and Quarryville.

If you're coming south on US1 --

• Take the 472 exit toward Quarryville.
• You'll cross over the lake in a few miles.
• Once you cross the lake look for Spruce Grove Road on the left.
• About 1.5-2 miles down that road will be the fishing center on the left.
• It's hard to miss, but if you cross over the lake again, you passed the fishing center.

You'll have to register and pay there. You get a little flag to attach to your boat that they apparently monitor from the shore. No flag and they take you off the lake though I've never seen it happen.

The lake has a two restricted waterfowl nesting areas (not very well marked) and the area near the dam is completely restricted (very well marked). There is a Girl Scout camp (Tweedale) on the lake and the shoreline along the camp is restricted.
